Open section: (recommended that participants be rated at least 1400)

Time Control: Game / 90 + 30 second increment.
Round 10 a.m. Saturday, November 19
Round 2 2 p.m. Saturday, November 19
Round 3 10 a.m. Sunday, November 20
Round 4 2 p.m. Sunday, November 20
Entry Fee: $ 15 - CFC Rated (CFC Membership not required !)

2nd $ 30
3rd $ 20
If the winner travels to the National Championship in Calgary - $ 200 will be available for travel expenses.
Winner (if rated over 1900) qualifies for 2012 Manitoba Championship
First Tiebreaker is heads-up result during tournament. (2 way, 3 way, etc.)
Next tie-break: G/20 + 10 second increment 2 game match until a winner emerges (ie 2 game matches to repeat until there is a winner of the match)
